Commanding Equestrian Warrior
This impressive bronze sculpture portrays an American Indian Chief riding horseback while holding a tall feather-decorated spear and a distinctive eagle shield. The combination of the mounted warrior, powerful horse, spear and shield creates a substantial equestrian centerpiece for schools, universities, athletic facilities and other prominent installations.
The Chief sits confidently on horseback wearing a full feather headdress and detailed fringed attire. His spear is held upright in one hand while the decorative shield is prominently displayed in the other. Beneath him, the horse is sculpted in motion with one front leg raised, creating a strong sense of movement throughout the composition.
Spear & Eagle Shield
The combination of the spear and eagle shield distinguishes this sculpture from our other horseback Chief designs. Sculpted feathers decorate the spear, visually connecting it with the Chief’s headdress and the feather detailing surrounding the shield.
